Atlantic Coast Desert Tour of Morocco - 6 Days

Day 1: Rabat – Casablanca – El-Jadida

Day 3: Essaouira – Agadir – Tafraoute

After breakfast, you will depart from Essaouira to Aglou beach where you will also have a lunch. After this, proceed your trip to Agadir amidst beautiful hills and valleys of Argan trees and local goats. It is when approaching Tafraoute that you cross the foothills of the Anti-Atlas that gorgeous small oases and Berber villages complete the picture. You will be amazed with the enormous number of large pink-granite blocks which surround Tafraoute at sunset. Take dinner as well as spend a night here in this attractive village.

Day 4 : Tafraoute – Tata – Erg Chigaga

Day 5 : Erg Chigaga – Mhamid – Zagora – Ouarzazate

Spend your early morning gazing at the sun as it rise above the Chigaga dunes and follow it up with breakfast in the middle of nowhere. Further on your way to Zagora, a small break in an oasis town Mhamid is expected so that you would grab a cup of tea. Then proceed to Tamegroute historical village and visit an under ground Kasbah and the unique, old Koranic library. Later on, might as well take your time to have lunch at Zagora before pushing through to Ouarzazate. En route , there are lots of attractions , namely the Draa Valley that is famous for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs . Fly to Ouarzazate now known as the Hollywood of Morocco where you will have dinner and accommodation in your hotel.

Day 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

will be spend your last day traveling to the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou after breakfast in the morning leaving from Ouarzazate. This World Heritage site is a fantastic example of a fortified village and has been used for shooting several movies. Following your tour at Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch in the Atlas Mountains before proceeding to Marrakech.
